MaiL() function

Greetings PHP Users,
I got a production server running IIS on windows2000 with php4-release, and
one of my scripts maintains a emailing contact, and using mail(), as
mail("dme@kh.com", "the subject", "Request","From:
del@kh.com\nReply-To:
webmaster@kh.com\nX-Mailer: 234");
upon execution, I get the Error as follows:
Warning: Unknown error in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\www\newsite\www2\sendmail.php
on line 13
Then I edited c:\winnt\php.ini as told in the documents and set SMTP =
mail.kh.com, and I restarted IIS, and came up with the same problem.
If you got any clues why this is not working, please advise me,
