Syntax (simplified) UPDATE <table_name> SET <column_name> = {expression | DEFAULT | NULL} FROM <table_source> [,...n] WHERE <search_condition> In the "FROM ... WHERE ..." construction is where you should place the "other" table and the appropriate search conditions.
