problem with the gd library

I have some problems to use the php3_gd.dll library. I've put these lines in my php.ini: extension=php3_gd.dll and: extension_dir= ... // the path to the php3_gd.dll file I've tried to put the path using "/" or "\" and it doesn't work! I've also tried to use : dl("php3_gd.dll"); and with the complete path: dl("c:/.../php3_gd.dll"); I don't know what i could do now. Does anybody can help me? Thanks Xavier
