>Why would you want to use a servlet implimentation instead of treating them as PHP classes? From the README the advantage of using servlet implementation is "web servers which support servlets typically take great care in pooling and reusing JVMs". Also there are no configuration hazzles "associated with starting the JVM". I think these are enough reasons to try the servlet implementation. The only problem is that the README is not detailed enough. > Also can you get the jawt.php example working? I heven't been able to make the awt example run properly. The best I have been able is to get the frame title. I use echo "The frame title is " . $frame->getTitle(); As for showing the frame this hasn't worked yet. I guess since Frame is a top level window it has a problem getting embeded in the browser window. The logic here is that you can't embed a top-level window in another top-level window!!! > > Last question.. do you see the dodgy error messages i described? Or was that just me? I have seen the criptic error mesages whenever PHP can't run Java applications. They just don't make sense. > -----Original Message----- > From: Joseph Okomba [ <mailto:Okomba@kabage.co.ke>] > Sent: Wednesday, June 28, 2000 4:17 PM > To: Nold, Mark > Cc: 'php-windows@lists.php.net' > Subject: RE: Problem installing java extension on NT4.0 > > > Thanks Mark.
