When I comes to network related problem, and while the fault has not been narrowed down to a specific program(topic), then it can be virtual anything that causes the problem. It is very hard to tell from the information you provides - as an extreme example: as far it concerns me, your network card might even be broken, thus being the fault causing this error. How on earth would I be able to tell the difference? If someone manage to tell you what's wrong with your system, that's probably mere pure luck than skill. I guess you're right in your conclusion to use IIS to quickly get something up and running - but I suggest you better have a look at the network configuration of any piece of software that is involved in this - for example. Start out to confirm basic things like the host is authorized on the network, and then process upwards in the hierarchy of software to try to located the fault. Cheers, /Anders
