There is no limmitations in updating or inserting any column with large data. use INSERT INTO or
UPDATE.
If you are using NCHAR, NVARCHAR, CHAR or VARCHAR with lengths > 256 you will not be able to
select more than 256 bytes when you are using the mssql extension. This limitation is a limitation
in Microsofts libraries and not in the PHP extension.
