You can find something about session handling on http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/session.php -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Gustafsson [mailto:cloaked@hem.passagen.se] Sent: Wednesday, July 05, 2000 12:06 PM To: php-windows@lists.php.net Subject: Re: [PHP-WIN] Thanks --- more info >Now the sessions are working. Also I would like more documentation on sessions, if possible, can you tell me where to find it. >I have been to sites like phpbuilder.com and Devshed but was unable to find any extensive documentation. Hmm, now where did I see that... 'couch sessions'.... Ahh.. It's on devshed http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/PHP/Sessions/ That is what I learnt how to handle the PHP4 sessions from anyhow =) >In PHP3 for Linux, there is a library (PHPLIB) wherein you can pass the urls with a particular session using the >purl() and url() functions. These functions add the current session to the url being called in GET mode. >Is there something similar for Windows? Or is there a seperate library? Dunno 'bout that since I never used PHP3 or PHPLIB, the session support is build in into PHP4. I guess that unless you compile the executable with the correct options or can depend on that every client has cookies disables, you'll have to add the macro SID to every url manually (that's what I do anyhow). But that's mentioned in the article on devshed. -- PHP Windows Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-windows-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-windows-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
