Using com_get() or com_propget()

Hello.
How does one translate the following so that com_get() or com_propget()
can be used in its place?
This works: $fv=@$oRecordset->Fields[0]->Value;
I want translate the above to this form: $fv=com_get(???,???);
I am using the COM functions in PHP4 for Win32 to access the Active
Directory.
