I really like git. With github I have one problem: As far as I can see a
tree is always owned by a user not by a group of users. Tis makes it,
for me as a user, hard to identify the mainline. There seem to be some
projects (I found MaNGOS as an example http://github.com/mangos) where a
user named like the project exists so either thats again a single person
or they share the password.
As a comparison (not that I like bzr more than git, but ...) on
launchpad there are the users, like me https://launchpad.net/~johannes-s
who are member of groups, like "MySQL Developers"
https://launchpad.net/~mysql who can own projects and
branches while
everybody in that group has some rights on that project/branch (I never
looked at the different rights there are in detail)
