Sounds like PNWPHP and ZendCon might be great places to ensure stickers get into either Joe's and Michelangelo's hands prior to php[world]. We should probably limit designated people to give stickers to, that way we don’t drop anyone out. I’ll work up a spreadsheet form to submit info to “I want to send stickers” and “who I’m sending/giving stickers to” Sounds like Michelangelo and I will put sticker packs for the UGs together at php[world] Could be a fun uncon session :D Hard deadlines: Michelangelo and I will HAVE to have your UG’s stickers before we leave for php[world]. For me that would be before November 12.

I'll be at the following conferences: - PNWPHP16 - USA/Seatlle - PHPNW16 - UK/Manchester - BGPHP16 - Bulgaria/Sofia - TrueNorthPHP16 - Canada/Toronto - php[world] - USA/Washington DC I will try to collect as many local European PHP UG stickers before I leave so I can exchange them at these conferences. These exchanged stickers can be redistributed at other conferences like ZendCon. On Tue, Aug 30, 2016 at 5:22 PM, Francesco <ffullone@gmail.com> wrote:
We will gladly participate to the exchange, but we will reprint all our stickers next year (for both conferences and PUGs) :( Maybe we should send some old stickers to the forthcoming PHPNW PS during the latest phpDay we adopted the hexipic (https://hexi.pics/help_en, http://hexb.in/sticker.html ) pseudo-standard for all our productions and the results were great. I see this as a value because my user group members absolutely love
stickers. It may even bring up questions "oh cool what's Madisonphp?" And I could say, oh that's Beth's user group is Madison, Wisconsin. And that would increase knowledge of the PHP groups existence.
It's a low cost to no cost way of a little marketing. I'll be at zendcon and MadisonPHp conf as well to exchange stickers. I'd
like a "sticker pack". I'll bring maybe 100 with me.
What I would like is 5-10 stickers of each user group. I have about 30-60 people attend each Meetup so the stickers go fast. :-) Thanks!

Not wanting to be a "nay-sayer", but legitimately wondering how this
benefits the UGs. Am I missing an angle? (asking as someone who's laptop contains more stickers per square inch than anybody)
I mean, I get it for something like Nomad or SunshinePHP because folks
can join Nomad from anywhere and can travel once a year to SunshinePHP conference. But how does SoFloPHP benefit from more stickers being spread around the world, though it is a regional UG?

doing
a UG Sticker exchange. Is this something that other UGs are interested in? I'm willing to
organize
(and I'm conveniently centrally located in the US) Some questions I'd have: * How many stickers should we set as a minimum (Would depend on how
many
UGs contribute obvs) * There will be some mailing expenses, I assume we could probably find
a
sponsor Non-US UGs I'd like you to contribute as well. One idea is that I can
bring
your stickers from the US groups to php[world] and get someone to take
them
across the ocean to distribute from there. Thoughts? Suggestions? Wisecracks?
