I just installed ApacheTriad for Windows (Apache, PHP, PEAR, mySQL). I would like to use the PECL email filter: and can not find documentation on how to enable PECL. I don't know if this is a seperate library or part of PEAR. <?php $email = "someone@exa mple.com";if(!filter_var($email, FILTER_VALIDATE_EMAIL)) { echo "E-mail is not valid"; }else { echo "E-mail is valid"; }?> I ran the Windows ApacheTriad install and the PEAR library is installed. I don't know how to access any PEAR functions. I read that PECL is a sub library of PEAR. I have gone to the http://pecl.php.net/support.php No instructions for a WINDOWS install or config ... Can any one help?If you use php 5.2.3, it will contain the latest version of the filter extension. You can also fetch the latest DLLs from pecl4win.php.net --Pierre
