Ok, so I need to peak the name and Category for the package I propose "syck" for the name (following library name). "yaml" would be easier to notice, but I would prefer to keep that name for the future "libyaml" binding any better alternatives? regarding category… Official description of YAML says: "straightforward machine parsable data serialization format designed for human readability and interaction with scripting languages" the correct choice would be "data serialization", but there isn't such option ;) "File Formats"? "Streams"? or… "Database"? On 7/6/07, Alexey Zakhlestin <indeyets@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi everyone! I am working on a binding of Syck library for PHP. Syck is a YAML 1.0 parser/emitter. I am getting closer to release-quality and would like to publish the package using PECL. Currently, extension provides 2 functions: - mixed syck_load(string); - string syck_dump(mixed); Requirements are: - PHP 5.1+ - SPL License info: - syck library is BSD-licensed - extension is PHP-Licensed URLs: - Home of Syck library: http://whytheluckystiff.net/syck/ - YAML-related Posts in my blog: http://blog.milkfarmsoft.com/?cat=20 - YAML-spec home: http://www.yaml.org/ -- Alexey Zakhlestin http://blog.milkfarmsoft.com/
