Hello,
So I think you should definitely check our previous effort at converting zend to llvm bytecode (the URL given below by Pierre). The project works for most tests, although it won't compile with the lastest llvm version.
I'm available, if you want, to merge our code bases so that the development continues with just one project. That said, I haven't looked at your code (yet) to check which approach are you using.
Anyway, please let us know what you think.
Nuno

hi,
Nice project :)
On the same line, did you know about
http://svn.php.net/viewvc/pecl/llvm/ ? Maybe you can take the hand? Or
try to contact Nuno to see what's the status (a simple replace may do
it?).
About your extension, what's the license? I cannot find license file
or headers.
How did you compile for windows? I can't find a config.w32 either.
Cheers,

Hi, I'm writing an extension that aims at compiling the PHP OpCodes into machine code and optimizing it (using the LLVM libraries). I have yet done a very first beta version that uses only a few machine code, but it can already improve the rapidity up to a few percents. The extension can be found here : http://elettar.fr.nf/PHP/pco.tar.gz Binary for windows is also available : http://elettar.fr.nf/PHP/pco_win32.zip I want to put it on PECL, are thre any objections ? It's my first extension so all comments are welcome. Elettar.
