Seems to be working. More testing to be done. Also ok as cgi. On Slackware 4.0: ./configure \ --with-pgsql=/usr/local/pgsql \ --with-zlib \ --with-config-file-path=/var/lib/apache/conf \ --enable-track-vars \ --enable-magic-quotes \ --with-yp \ --enable-sysvsem \ --enable-sysvshm \ --with-gdbm \ --with-dbm \ --with-ndbm \ --enable-trans-sid \ --enable-debug \ --enable-debugger Configures and compiles. Seems to be working. More testing to be done. Note: We don't yet have a test suite for PHP4. So 'seems to be working' doesn't mean very much. Just that a few things I'm currently working on didn't break. Another note: 1-2 weeks ago I could link against static libgd. Not anymore, so I just compiled it again as shared. I don't know if it's related to PHP4 or changes made to libtool in Debian. For a beta release, not a showstopper, but something that should work before final. - Jouni
