Operating system: Linux Slackware 8.0
PHP version: 4.1.1
PHP Bug Type: Mail related
Bug description: mail() is not supported in this PHP build
I've been looking at a lot of mails regarding that problem, but tryed all
the solutions found with no luck.
Here is the scenario:
Slackware 8.0
Sendmail 8.11.6 working fine.
PHP 4.1.1
Apache 1.3.22
This is the configuration line:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/ --with
-apache=../apache_1.3.22/ --enable-dbase --enable-ftp --enable-mailparse
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql
configure detects sendmail, and there is defined #define HAVE_SENDMAIL 1
in php_config.h
Tried adding #define HAVE_SENDMAIL 1 in file basic_functions.c just before
the #ifdef HAVE_SENDMAIL directive.
Deleted and recompiled N times apache and php, no luck...
How can I get it to work?
Thanks!
