New Comment:
Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately your version of PHP is too old -- the problem
might already be fixed. Please download a new PHP
version from http://www.php.net/downloads.php
If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.

I've been looking at a lot of mails regarding that problem, but tryed
all the solutions found with no luck.
Here is the scenario:
Slackware 8.0
Sendmail 8.11.6 working fine.
PHP 4.1.1
Apache 1.3.22
This is the configuration line:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/ --with
-apache=../apache_1.3.22/ --enable-dbase --enable-ftp
--enable-mailparse --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql
configure detects sendmail, and there is defined #define HAVE_SENDMAIL
1 in php_config.h
Tried adding #define HAVE_SENDMAIL 1 in file basic_functions.c just
before the #ifdef HAVE_SENDMAIL directive.
Deleted and recompiled N times apache and php, no luck...
How can I get it to work?
Thanks!
