Yes, and it shows all the changes I've made to the file
File header
System Windows NT 5.0 build 2195
Build Date May 12 2002 23:51:56
Server API ISAPI
Virtual Directory Support enabled
Configuration File (php.ini) Path C:\WINNT\php.ini
Debug Build no
Thread Safety enabled
The only mystery is that the session.save_path shows
session.save_path /tmp /tmp
when the ini file says
; Argument passed to save_handler. In the case of files, this is the
path
; where data files are stored. Note: Windows users have to change this
; variable in order to use PHP's session functions.
session.save_path = "c:\php\sessions"

Does phpinfo() show the correct place of your php.ini file _and_ the
correct session.save_path?

Please take 2 mins to look over this, PHP has been told where to look
for these files but its not listening.
PHP.ini is where it should be and PHP knows where to find it.

That dosn't make sense, I removed my PHP.ini file from C:\winnt and PHP
ceased to work properly.
I put it back and it works fine (apart from this problem).
When I've edited it before the changes have been noticed so it does
know where to find the file.
I could understand it being a config issue apart from the fact that
NOWHERE does it use /tmp
I changed those references, so where is PHP getting this from ?
PHP incorrectly belives my session.store_path is /tmp but I've removed
all references to /tmp and restart my PC more than once (i've also
restarted IIS).
Where is PHP incorrectly getting this info from ?

Sorry, but the bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking
support questions. Your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself.
For a list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP,
please visit http://www.php.net/support.php
Thank you for your interest in PHP.
It's likely that PHP can't find your ini file. See
http://cvs.php.net/co.php/php4/win32/install.txt
for install
instructions.
