Description:

on windows xp running apache 2.2.4, with php 5.2.4.4 (and earlier versions
IIRC) if extension_dir is 

extension_dir = "E:\php\ext"
it cannot load any modules located therein, this is also true for ./ and
other relative paths. However

extension_dir = E:\php\ext

works fine, and similarly with all other circumstances.

this occurred with php_mysql, php_mysqli, php_mbstring, and any other
module I installed.
