ID: 42513 Updated by: jani@php.net Reported By: mshockle at gmail dot com -Status: Open +Status: Feedback Bug Type: *General Issues Operating System: windows xp PHP Version: 5.2.4 New Comment: So not even "./" works? Can you check with CLI? I tried this and it works fine: php.ini: extension_dir = "./ext" extension = php_pdo.dll I just unpacked the zip and run the php.exe in the same dir with the php.ini in the same dir: php -m And it lists PDO, no errors. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2007-09-03 08:22:14] mshockle at gmail dot com Meh, just thought i'd pass it along. I used the zip package of the win32 build for this version, and on apache 2.2 i encountered a problem with ANY directory including the PWD until I removed any quotes, then apache magically understood where it all went. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2007-09-03 08:18:52] jani@php.net And you're saying that when you include double slashes (") around the path it doesn't work? I find that hard to believe since it doesn't really matter if you have them or not as long as your path doesn't contain spaces.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2007-09-03 08:14:50] mshockle at gmail dot com php5apache2_2.dll ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2007-09-03 08:12:18] jani@php.net What SAPI are you using? (I can't reproduce this..) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2007-09-01 18:28:16] mshockle at gmail dot com Description: ------------ on windows xp running apache 2.2.4, with php 5.2.4.4 (and earlier versions IIRC) if extension_dir is extension_dir = "E:\php\ext" it cannot load any modules located therein, this is also true for ./ and other relative paths. However extension_dir = E:\php\ext works fine, and similarly with all other circumstances. this occurred with php_mysql, php_mysqli, php_mbstring, and any other module I installed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=42513&edit=1
