Bug description: PHP page viewing crashes the server
Allright, it seems that viewing any PHP page has a chance of crashing my
system. Here is a list of specs..
Compaq Presario
600mhz PII
256MB Ram
14GB Hard Drive
MySQL Server 4.1
Sambar 5.0 server
and I just downloaded PHP from this site.
This machine has no other software installed on it.
Upon viewing any php page, there is a chance of making the computer
suddenly reboot. This only happens if you are viewing the page from a
computer other than the one it is hosted on. I am using the ISAPI method
of running it. This error dosnt occur with non php pages, and seems
totally random on the server. Sometimes it will crash the server like this
as soon as the page is requested, other times I'll be left with half of
the document (which is rare). I am going to attempt to install the CGI
interface, but I thought I ought to inform you of the problem beforehand.
I have not been able to get any debug info from my server relating in any
way to it. Even the simple phpinfo.php page ( <% phpinfo(); %> )
crashes it. Please help!!! Thank you!!!
-Mike
