From: jlask@hotmail.com Operating system: W2K (NT5) PHP version: 4.2.2 PHP Bug Type: Session related Bug description: PHP Apache2 dll does not support tracking I am running apache 2.0.39 with PHP 4.2.2.(zip version downloaded from website) on a windows 2K box. I tried to get webcalander 0.9.37, 0.9.39 to work (sourceforge) - it would work with the php.exe cgi version, but would not work using the php4apache2.dll. The problem was that the webcalander issued a cookie when someone logged on and tracked the session using that with the php4apache2.dll it seems that the cookie is incorrect/or not sent/or tracking variables not set properly - so that the user is returned to the logon screen. I don't know which of the above is the real reason for the problem - but I have a work around (cgi version) which I am using. I thought that I should report the problem since it would be better to use the php4apache.dll, and since I wanted to know whether others have experiecned this problem. By the way I think this problem could be related to: Bug #17459 dual bug -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19218&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=trysnapshot Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19218&r=globals
