@slusarz, the patch fixed the issue we had with Horde on PHP 5.4.33 :)

@rdlowery: I'm the author of the Horde code mentioned in this ticket.  Wondering if there is
something specific that we are doing that is triggering this issue (we alter the buffer sizes and
timeouts after the initial call to stream_socket_client(), for example).

Or is this a more generic issue that simply wasn't caught before the initial patch?

If I get a chance/time, I will try compiling the latest PHP 5.5 from source and verify the latest
fix works correctly, at least with the Horde code.

Plesk just released a patch related to PHP , which fixed the issue with Horde.

I don't know yet if they used the patch from this ticket , so i think you can close it, until
further notification.
