Hi,
It's unclear what you're asking for. PHP already has support for NCR through
html_entity_decode.
PHP 7 will also have support for being able to write unicode code points directly into strings: https://wiki.php.net/rfc/unicode_escape .
If these two don't satisfy your needs, please could you clarify what you meant?

Since PHP has support for html entities. Why not add support for NCRs (Numeric Character References)
as well ?
