Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2015-01-13 17:14:27] danack@php.net Hi, It's unclear what you're asking for. PHP already has support for NCR through html_entity_decode. PHP 7 will also have support for being able to write unicode code points directly into strings: https://wiki.php.net/rfc/unicode_escape . If these two don't satisfy your needs, please could you clarify what you meant? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2008-10-13 18:28:06] boujin at yahoo dot com Description: ------------ Since PHP has support for html entities. Why not add support for NCRs (Numeric Character References) as well ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=46287&edit=1
