Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2014-08-22 15:12:38] pgodel at gmail dot com Description: ------------ Trying to compile/make install fails with the following error: cp: cannot stat `sapi/cli/php.1': No such file or directory make: *** [install-cli] Error 1 There is a similar report for PHP 5.5 which appears to have been fixed but the problem persists in PHP 5.4.32: https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=66842 The issue appears to be the following line in Makefile.global: find . -name \*.1 | xargs rm -f After commenting this line, the issue goes away. This line is not present in PHP 5.5.16 Expected result: ---------------- Should be able to compile and install.
