From: clicky at erebot dot net Operating system: Debian Stretch PHP version: 7.2.0alpha3 Package: Unknown/Other Function Bug Type: Bug Bug description:Cannot install PEAR using install-pear-nozlib.phar archive Description: ------------ Trying to install the PEAR installer using the install-pear-nozlib.phar results in a 255 exit code. No error is displayed on the console and pear is not installed. I tracked this down to the setAttribute() method in Archive/Tar.php, which uses the reference operator (&) on an internal function (func_get_args).
