This would be a considerable feature addition, and as such
requires the RFC process[1]. Anybody is welcome to start it. For
the time being, I'm suspending this ticket.

LinqToXML, etc...

Having a php native LINQ-style of querying objects in PHP would make code more maintainable and
readable. As of now, developers must loop through an array of objects and perform manual filtering,
grouping, etc.
