Hello.
I was test my code, while I'm using this code:
set_time_limit(5);
$e = 0;
while(true){
$e++;
}
keeps alive and not getting timeout error.
I changed version to php7.3, Fixed.
Test script:

set_time_limit(5);
$e = 0;
while(true){
$e++;
}
Expected result:
----------------
Nothing
