Please re-read the instructions at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php If you can provide more information, feel free to add it to this bug and change the status back to "Open". Thank you for your interest in PHP. please add at least head configure to your report regarding the "weird blank lines" i'm not sure what you are refering to ... configure is not meant to be human readable anyway, but from the blank lines i can see in configure non look "weird" to me ? Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-29 22:33:54] kinclong2@yahoo.co.uk With the fresh copy of PHP distribution, I've found that there are too many unused blank lines inside configure script. BAD INTERPRETER message displayed at the beginning of configure script execution. In my humble opinion, the configure script should be fixed and remove the "weird" blank lines too reduce the size. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=20163&edit=1
