PHP 8.1 currently ships with a bundled PCRE 10.37, so that version clearly seems to work?

With PCRE versions 10.37 and below PHP 8.1 build breaks when preg_match is called with the warning

Actual result:

PHP 8.1 should work with PCRE versions 10.37 and below
