### Description
I understand that my PHP version is no longer supported, but I am mentioning this problem in case
anybody else has a similar issue.
### Environment:
MacBook Pro with M1 processor
Software: Docker environment
File: Simple index.php with
<?php echo '1';
### Issue Description
The opcache.revalidate_freq setting in opcache.ini is not functioning as
expected. Changes to PHP files are not being registered, indicating that files remain cached despite
modifications.
### Expected Behavior
With opcache.revalidate_freq set to 0, changes to PHP files should be immediately
visible.
### Actual Behavior
Changes to PHP files are not reflected, suggesting that the files remain cached regardless of the
opcache.revalidate_freq setting.
### Observations
phpinfo() confirms that opcache.revalidate_freq is set to 0.
The opcache.enable=1/0 setting works as expected.
This issue is not present on a colleague's MacBook Pro with an Intel processor using the same
Docker configuration and operating system.
### Hypothesis
There may be an OPcache-related issue specific to Apple M1 processors.
### PHP Version
PHP 7.4.21
### Operating System
MacOS Sonoma 14.5
