Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system
is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.
Thank you for your interest in PHP.
The fact that you can execute other commands clearly indicates that
this is not a PHP issue.

Some more info: I regularly use the exec() funtion with other AD
related programs (ldifde, csvde) and they don't have this problem.

Description:
------------
I am using Windows Server 2003 running IIS 6 with PHP 5.0.3.3 CGI. I
am coding a program that require the exec of the "dsmod" command. The
command will only work when the user that it is being exec as is logged
in.
Reproduce code:
---------------
<?php
exec ('dsmod user "'.$username.'" -pwd .$password, $dsmod);
echo ($dsmod[0]);
?>
Expected result:
----------------
exec() to work
Actual result:
--------------
exec() only works when the user that is logged into the webpage is also
logged into the computer
