Not sure what else you need, i can give you the code its just a
standard ftp_connect thats failing. There is no firewall or pasv
transfers. It works on all other operating systems.

I could give you my code its just a batch file that goes to norton and
gets the updates every evening on a crontab on windows 98 machines. Now
you are probably saying why not just upgrade well i have several clients
who cannot upgrade from 98 so this batch file has to work for 98. (note:
i have been doing it with batch command for sometime but i wanted to try
php ftp functions)

Please tell me what i should add not just say its not enough
information.

PS:I know you get a lot of these so i understand if you say you need
info but please state what you need, that document doesnt clearly
identify what i am missing.

So I make a php file to grab some updates automatically and run it with
a batch file

fileUpdate.bat
php.exe fileGet.php 

and i get unable to connect to ftp
I am racking my brain as to why it does not work on here but works
great on NT4,ME<= odd and 2K

can you give me either a quick fix or point in the correct direction
