Changing session.bug_compat_42 to 0, allows the page to load without problems. PHP version: 5.0.4 OS version: SLES 9 i686 Reproduce code: --------------- $page = basename($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']); Expected result: ---------------- $page would contain the webpage base name, e.g. '/webpage.php'.
