update/insert. I understand for the table below you can use inserts with
selects so that the insert will grab the Mov_ID from movies where the
title equals The Greem Mile and so on, but how should it be done if the
movie is not already in the movies table? Is it basically a three-pass
process. I'd enter all the people and movies that are nominated and then
enter the combos for the nominations?
I guess with a lot of if/else logic I can do it from one form. IF the
title exists pass on its Mov_ID ELSE enter it into the Movie table THEN
pass on its Mov_ID. So much food for thought. :-)
