I'm still trying to get php (on solaris, oracle 8.1.6) talking to a remote
oracle (solaris, oracle 8.1.7)
I've given up on the OCI calls, so I'm trying the old style calls.
and again running into trouble.
ora_login("username","password");
correctly tells me "oracle not available"
However, when I use
ora_login("username@sidname","password");
I get
Warning: Oracle: Connection Failed: ORA-01009: missing mandatory parameter
in
/var/apache/htdocs/php-tests/test.php on line 24
I CAN SUCCESSFULLY do
sqlplus username/password@sidname
What's up with "missing parameter"???
I have set ORACLE_HOME in the apache startup script.
