I've installed Informix Server and using Apache + php3 and php4.0RC1 to access it many times , and I am very satisfied with its performance !! Please refer to : http://www.informix.com/informix/services/ilink/pubs/technote/tn99v9i2/chap3 .htm , it has a lot of detail information , steps to install and config these two . Here is my advice before you go through it : set all env INFORMIXDIR, INFORMIXSERVER,... LD_LIBRARY_PATH,...before your trip !! Good luck !!
