I would be very wary of any hosts promising unlimited bandwidth or unlimited
space. It's usually a sign that they're very new or unprepared to handle
serious sites, probably a 1-3 man team. Any host that has been in business
for a while and has promising service will usually cap off the space and
bandwidth for the sake of fairness to their customers. Once they realize
they can't really offer all that, the host will usually cut back and cap it
off, and then the customers get pissed because the host can't stand up to
its original promises. Then the host gets in trouble because it promised
services that it cannot deliver, and legal issues ensue. I've worked for a
company like this before - it's only a matter of time.
- ON THE OTHER HAND -
I currently host with Aletia.com - they've given me the best of support. I
know they are currently a 6-person team, which is about right for the number
of servers they have, and I know they are expanding right now. Not sure how
much, but I've been with them since mid-July this year, and I've been
getting excellent and personal support, as well as a good deal with hosting.
I pay $10 a month and get 200 megs of space, 10 gigs of bandwidth, 10
subdomains, 10 mysql databases, php4, multi-hosting capabilities (so I can
host up to 3 extra domains/sites on one account for free. Total of 4 domain
sites for $10 per month - kinda like sharing minutes on a cell phone).
They've got active community forums (aletiaforums.com), and everything. the
only thing they don't have yet is a referrals system, but just in case you
sign up with them because of this e-mail, put "Referred by SiteCreative.com"
in the comments. You never know if they'll come up with one.

I'm with hostonce and have had no problems.
$4.95 per month gives you:
- php
- MySQL
- SSL
- CGI scripts plus bin
- unlimited disk space
- unlimited bandwidth
- plus all the other standard stuff.
Find them at www.hostonce.com
Failing that why don't you go to www.hostsearch.com , enter your preferences
and let them show you a list of all hosting companies that fulfil your
requirements. You can then find read reviews entered by people who have
taken out a subscription with any of them.
