Nick, FreeTDS can have the TDS version in the interfaces file instead of
"ether".
And Microsoft SQL Server by default uses port 1433 for the TDS protocol.
My interfaces looks like this:
Grafspee
query tcp tds4.2 192.168.0.9 1433
master tcp tds4.2 192.168.0.9 1433
Your interfaces will (probably) look like this:
regent1
query tcp tds4.2 158.234.4.24 1433
master tcp tds4.2 158.234.4.24 1433
Just remember to restart Apache after making a modification like this,
and be sure the SYBASE environmental variable is set to the root of the
FreeTDS installation.
