Hi,
I've read the manual on oracle functions on php.net. I've also been
searching for an answer for a few days now. I am under the impression that
if your Oracle database is on a different machine than your PHP and Apache
then you need to install the oracle Clinet on you PHP machine in order to be
able to connect to the oracle databse. Is this correct? If I install
oracle client, does it come with the necessary libraries or do those need to
be copied over from my oracle databse?
Anyone have any information on this. I can't believe that everyone running
oracle here is running the PHP and the webserver on the same machine.
