it's about a database and the structure is as follows:
function create_database($dbase,$table)
{
mysql_query("CREATE TABLE $table
(id int (3) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL auto_increment,
name varchar (25) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
mail varchar (25) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
webpage varchar (25) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
passwd varchar (8) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
date date DEFAULT '0000-00-00' NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (id))
");
}
When I do now reference to the date column the output has got this
format: 2000-08-06
I would like know to how redefine the structure when the time comes that
the site is build dynamically. It's possibly to do this with a regex
but for the sake of a better performance I would like to take a built
in function using php.
July the 1th, 2000 would be nice. : )
Is there possibly a function available ?
