My hope is that due to the fact that Interbase is free and has been
around for a long time, the incentive is there to get it working with
PHP. When I was at MCI, we were using Interbase to do real time 800
number lookups (500,000 entries in the DB) and we were averaging 40 msec
on 90 MHz boxes running SCO Unix. I just used it on a Web app that was
taking 1,000 DB entries/hr and I was equally impressed.
Do, I guess we just wait...........
