Yep,
the new pconnect function does not work
properly with freetds because freetds apparently
does not support the DBSETLCHARSET command if
the following changes are made to
the sybase_db.c file it compiles properly
with freetds
if (user) {
DBSETLUSER(sybase.login,user);
}
if (passwd) {
DBSETLPWD(sybase.login,passwd);
}
//if (charset) {
//
DBSETLCHARSET(sybase.login,charset);
