Use parameters, e.g. insert into foo values(1234, :bar) and call
OCIBindByName() to associate a php variable with your sql parameter.
Anyway, I would recommend using clobs instead of LONGs, since LONGs are
deprecated and while they will be supported by Oracle for some time, you
might find that LONGs are not the best choice dealing e.g. with
Intermedia Options (for Fulltext search).
