Web App Dev with PHP 4 provides an app on the CD that comes with the book that you might take a look at. It's a prog that provids a page for tips and tricks, keeping track of comments, ratings, etc, and provides report type pages, basic searching, and a few other things. It also uses PHPlib to control permissions in a configurable manner, so that when you divide the interface between user and admin tasks, you can subdivide the admin authz with various levels of permissions. This app uses PHPlib extensively. The use of Templates should be of interest if you haven't used them before. Even if you end up not using PHPlib, it's still a good source for ideas, and I believe is a base that many folks have used to jump start some projects. Just getting started myself on this stuff. Hope this helps. Mike D.
