I get "character set conversion error" when trying to insert a text blob no matter what character set I have defined for the tables. I do: $blob = ibase_blob_create(); ibase_blob_add($blob, "text"); ibase_blob_close($blob); ibase_query($link, "INSERT INTO mytable (text) VALUES ($blob)"; Maybe I am doing something wrong..
