Are you using a different Oracle login for each web site user? That can be a
troublesome process. It's often easier to handle authentication within the
PHP application. But if you do need to use Oracle authentication, then for
obvious security reasons you do not want to send the password back and forth
to the user's browser in any form; store it in a session variable.
