Connection Problems with PHP4(.0.2) + OCI8

Hi, I'm trying to get php4 + oci8 to run on my server using the binaries from php4win.de, so far without success. OCILogin fails with " _oci_open_server: ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name". * PHP 3.0.16 + OCI8 works OK on the same machine using the same connection identifiers * my own OCI C programs (using the older oci7 functions) work OK on the same machine * same problem occurs if I compile OCI8 php4 module myself. * SQL-PLUS works ok using the same username/pw/service name combination. TNS Name resolution is via TNSNAMES.ORA and via Oracle Names server on a 8.1.6 Database, Installed Oracle Client is 8.0.5. Any idea what to look at to get around this problem?
