Apparently you receive te message
ORA-01810 format code appears twice
This means that:
A format code was listed twice in a date specification. Each format code may
be specified only once in the function TO_DATE.
Action: Remove the duplicate format code from the date specification, then
retry the operation
Therfore, you're using one of the TO_DATE format-codes wrongly, corect this
and on you go. (probably best to try it first with SQL*PLUS, and paste it
into your coding afterwards)

Onderwerp: [PHP-DB] using TO_DATE twice in an Oracle query
Thanks to everyone who helped me figure out CLOB inserts.
Another question: Can I only use the Oracle TO_DATE function once in a
query? I've got an insert that uses it twice to format two different dates,
and I get the error "format code appears twice."
Thanks,
Chris Murtland
