You will need to compile PHP with the -with-mysql option to compile the
MySQL functions into PHP :)

Subject: [PHP-DB] mysql
Hi all, i'm new to php development, and am having trouble mysql connecting
to a database.
Can anyone tell me what files/functions I would need to compile into the php
on a Linux server and some guidelines
on how to compile them, to allow mysql function calls.
thanks, --Kev.
